According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s six-hour forecast issued at 7am on Thursday (August 27), the sky in Dhaka and adjoining areas may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy, with chances of rain or thundershowers. Winds may blow from the south and southeast at a speed of 10-15 kilometres per hour.
The temperature in Dhaka was 28.5°C at 6am, with relative humidity at 90%. Dhaka recorded 34mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours. The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka yesterday was 34.1°C, while today’s lowest temperature was 26.5°C.
Meanwhile, many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, and some areas of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions may experience rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds.
