According to a report by Indian news outlet NDTV, Muskan’s gym trainer, Imran, has been accused in connection with the killing. He allegedly fled the scene following the attack.
Neighbours reportedly rushed to the apartment after hearing Muskan’s screams and found her lying in a pool of blood. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Police said efforts are underway to arrest the accused. Investigators are also collecting CCTV footage from the building and surrounding areas to determine the motive behind the killing and identify those involved.

Muskan’s friend Aman said she was the youngest of three sisters. Her elder sister was in Chandigarh at the time of the incident and, after receiving the news, asked Aman to rush to Muskan’s residence.
According to Aman, Muskan’s sisters had previously told him that Imran had allegedly harassed her. However, police have yet to confirm the motive for the killing or Imran’s involvement. The investigation is ongoing, with CCTV footage and other evidence being examined.
