Several important bills, including the Enforced Disappearance Prevention and Remedy Act and the National Human Rights Commission Act, are scheduled to be tabled in this session. Besides, the parliament may also discuss the electricity, gas and fertilizer crisis.

Security has been tightened around the National Parliament Building and its surrounding areas centering on the session. To maintain peace and order, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has banned meetings, processions and protests in and around the parliament area.
