Kader Gani Chowdhury appointed new MD and chief editor of BSS

On Thursday (August 27), the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification appointing him on a contractual basis for one year.

The notification said, according to Section 10(1) of the Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha Act, 2018, Muhammad Kader Gani Chowdhury has been appointed on a contractual basis as Managing Director and Chief Editor of BSS for a one-year term from the date of joining.

However, in the case of this appointment, he must relinquish any other profession, business, or employment relationship with any government, semi-government, private institution or organization.

The notification further said, other terms of the appointment will be determined through a contract.
