After 'destabilizing the country through long marches' from September to November, Jamaat-e-Islami may take to the field along with Awami League from December, said Prime Minister's political assistant Rashed Khan.
He made this claim in a status on his Facebook account on Friday (August 28).

Rashed Khan said, his previous assumption has been clarified by the recent remarks of Jamaat leader Abdullah Mohammad Taher regarding the government's behavior towards the opposition. He claims that in the future, Jamaat-NCP may launch a movement along with Awami League.

He also alleged that efforts are being made to soften the stance against Awami League, ignoring the sacrifices of those killed and injured in the 2024 mass uprising. At the same time, he raised questions about the role of Jamaat.
