Government is working in a planned manner to fulfill people's expectations: Mir Shah Alam

On Saturday, he laid wreaths at the graves with the leaders and activists of the newly formed convening committee. At that time, he urged the new leadership to play a responsible role in unity, discipline and the welfare of the people.

Later, the State Minister told journalists that the government is working with short, medium and long-term plans in the power and energy sector considering the needs of the people and the development of the country.

Regarding local government elections, he said fair and participatory elections are essential to strengthen the institutions. The local government elections will be completed within the current fiscal year.

Mir Shah Alam also said that the main goal of every government initiative is to ensure the welfare of the people, good governance and accelerate the development of the country.
