At an event held at the Bauphal Upazila Parishad auditorium on Saturday (29 August), Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Member of Parliament for Patuakhali-2 constituency, welcomed him with flowers and presented Tk 50,000 as a token of honor.

World-winning Hafez Nuruddin Zakaria felicitated in his own district
At the event, Shafiqul Islam Masud said, the opportunity to present Bauphal on the international stage through the Quran is a great blessing. Necessary steps will be taken in the future to maintain this continuity.
In response, Hafez Nuruddin Zakaria urged everyone to pray for him. He sought prayers so that he can work as a servant of Islam.
