Prime Minister's directives to ease traffic congestion in the capital

The decisions were taken at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Prime Minister's Tejgaon office on Saturday.

At the meeting, a decision was taken to introduce Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) at toll plazas on expressways and flyovers. An app will also be developed for this, and directives were given to complete the work within four months.

Besides, decisions were taken to expand Gabtoli bus terminal, relocate Karwan Bazar kitchen market to Gabtoli, and increase parking facilities in the Secretariat area.
