Aminul Islam said a skilled lawyer must have a combination of rationality, inquisitiveness, professional competence and ethics. One must also acquire the ability to find out where the investigation went wrong and whether there are inconsistencies or deficiencies in the evidence.
He advised law students to regularly visit courts and observe judicial proceedings alongside their academic studies. This would enable them to gain practical experience in case management, cross-examining witnesses, and presenting legal arguments.

During the event, a newly built moot court was inaugurated and a mock trial was held with the participation of students. Later, the Chief Prosecutor reviewed the students' presentations and legal arguments and gave various suggestions.
