During the hospital visit on Sunday, the minister enquired about patients' medical care, the presence of doctors and health workers, and the overall environment of the hospital. He also directed ensuring adequate supply of snakebite and rabies vaccines at the vaccination centers.

After the visit, while talking to journalists, the health minister said, to ensure healthcare services for rural people, late President Ziaur Rahman had launched a 31-bed hospital. Later, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia upgraded the hospital to 50 beds.
He said, according to the present government's election manifesto, the Char Bhadrasan Upazila Health Complex will be modernized and upgraded to 151 beds. Modern medical equipment, pathology facilities, and separate beds for women and children will be arranged there. He also informed that a gynecologist doctor will be appointed at the hospital soon.

The minister further said, to ensure the quality of healthcare, there will be strict monitoring of the regular presence and duties of doctors and health workers. No irregularities or absence without leave will be tolerated.
Later, the health minister visited Sadarpur Upazila Health Complex in Faridpur. During this time, he toured the various wards of the hospital and enquired about medical services and overall activities.
