He said this in his speech as the chief guest at a special meeting and exchange of views of the district law and order committee held on Monday (31 August) at the conference room of the Dhaka District Administrator.
Coordinated initiative urgent to maintain law and order: State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock
The State Minister said, drugs are one of the biggest social crises in the country. Crime is also increasing with the spread of drugs. Therefore, alongside strict measures by law enforcement agencies, public awareness and a social movement must be built.
He urged family, educational institutions, local administration and everyone in society to work collectively to prevent the spread of teenage gangs. He also stressed effective initiatives to keep young people away from crime.
