Arriving at Narayanganj Sadar Land Office at 8:55 am, the deputy minister inspected the Sadar, Fatullah and Siddhirganj circle offices. At that time, the assistant commissioners (land) of the three circles and most other officers and employees were not found at their workplaces. Only a few staff members were present.
Later, after reviewing the attendance register, it was seen that several absent employees had signed the attendance register the previous day. The deputy minister expressed dissatisfaction after seeing this.
When Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Rinat Fawzia arrived at the office at 9:21 am, the deputy minister brought the irregularity to her notice and instructed her to take necessary action.
After the inspection, the deputy minister said, "Signing the attendance register without being present at the office is extremely unfortunate. Because of such irregularities, ordinary people are being deprived of proper land services." He urged taking strict steps to ensure the regular presence of officers and employees and provide quality land services to the people.
