On Monday (August 31) at 11am, the seminar was held in the school auditorium, organized by the science organization Asterion. Around 250 female students from classes six to ten participated.
Space seminar for students in Pabna titled ‘A School to Watch the Sky’
At the beginning, the school head teacher Ohidur Rahman spoke. He said such science-based events will make students curious about topics beyond textbooks and play a role in developing their thinking ability and intellect.
In the seminar, Sohanur Rahman, research intern at the Center for Astronomy, Space Science and Astrophysics (CASA), discussed various unknown topics about space science, astronomy and the universe. He presented the mysteries of the universe and astronomy to the students in a simple and attractive way.

The convener of the organizing organization Asterion, Rakibuzzaman Shad, said the main goal of this event is to create interest in space science among the younger generation and to develop a scientific outlook. Such educational activities with students will continue in the future.
A question and answer session was held with the participation of students at the seminar. Those who gave correct answers to various space-related questions were given goodwill gifts.
