Home Minister inaugurates drone training school in Sylhet
A BGB source said this new training center will create opportunities for effective use of drone technology in border surveillance and enhancing skills in operating modern equipment.
This is Salauddin Ahmed's first official visit to Sylhet after taking charge as Home Minister. Security has been tightened around the Sylhet BGB Sector Headquarters and important areas of the city in view of his visit.

According to the schedule, the Home Minister is scheduled to take part in a press briefing with journalists at the BGB Sector Headquarters in the afternoon. Later, he will attend a review meeting at Sylhet Circuit House with the district administration and senior officials of law enforcement agencies regarding the overall law and order situation of the district.
After the day-long schedule, the Home Minister is scheduled to leave for Dhaka from Sylhet Osmani International Airport in the evening.
