Humayun Kabir said discussions between the two countries over the Prime Minister's India visit are ongoing. However, no decision has been made yet on finalizing the schedule of the visit.
He further said the issue of not granting approval to a program of Awami League leaders in India on last August 29 is positive for Bangladesh-India bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, regarding the fresh purchase of Boeing aircraft from the United States, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs said the government wants to develop Bangladesh as an aviation hub. The country's national flag carrier airline has a demand for 70 to 80 aircraft.
He said Boeing aircraft will be bought from the United States as per requirements. Not due to any pressure, but considering the country's needs, the decision to buy these aircraft will be made.
