He said these things as the chief guest at a views-exchange meeting organized on the occasion of Janmashtami at the Barowari temple premises in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur on Thursday morning.

The minister said, everyone will perform their own religion, profession and work freely and fearlessly. Everyone must work together to make Bangladesh of religious harmony even more beautiful. No kind of hatred, malice, oppression or division will be accepted.

He said, everyone will observe festivals and programs according to their own religious beliefs and no one will obstruct anyone's religious activities. People have been living together for a hundred years, and in future too, we must live together maintaining harmony.

Saying that Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) believes this country belongs to everyone, the minister said, all must work unitedly for the welfare of the country.

 

At that time, Birampur Upazila Executive Officer Tanzina Khatun along with Sanatan religion followers and BNP activists were present.
