State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam has said the people of the country have demanded that those involved in the killings of students and the masses be brought back from different countries and face trial.
He said this after a procession organized in Nagarkanda, Faridpur, on Saturday afternoon to mark the 48th founding anniversary of BNP. Shama Obaed said, BNP, founded by martyr President Ziaur Rahman, is not only a popular political party of Bangladesh but also of the subcontinent.

Earlier, as part of the central programs of the founding anniversary, he planted trees and released fish fry into the Kumar River on the premises of the Government MN Academy.

Leaders from various levels of Nagarkanda upazila and municipality BNP spoke at the event.
