Burning thousands of litres of fuel to hold opposition’s long march is unreasonable: Water Resources State Minister

He said this as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of releasing fish fry in Boda Upazila Parishad pond and starting swimming training for children in Panchagarh on Sunday.

The State Minister alleged that the opposition alliance led by Jamaat-e-Islami and the National Citizens' Party was trying to destabilise the country by raising various crises. He also said they were misleading people over the crises of fuel, electricity and fertiliser.

Calling upon everyone to be aware of protecting native fish species, Farhad Hossain Azad stressed teaching children swimming to prevent deaths from drowning. He also called for building social resistance against drugs to keep the youth away from drugs.
