He gave the assurance while speaking as the chief guest at the closing and prize-giving ceremony of the Inter-District Under-16 Girls' Football Competition held at Shaheed Ria Gopal Women's Sports Complex. Tangail District became champions in the competition, with the participation of 14 districts, defeating Rangamati 5-1 in the final.
Government assures all-out cooperation in developing women athletes
The State Minister said the government will work to bring out women athletes from every region of the country and establish them at national and international levels. Women's advancement through sports will become even more widespread, and they will bring glory to their families, society and the country.
He informed that effective action plans will be taken to develop women's sports by properly utilising sports infrastructure across the country, including the Women's Sports Complex. He also said that both boys' and girls' sports would be taken forward with equal importance.
