Three issued show-cause notice over cake-cutting in tribunal lock-up
Earlier, the tribunal’s chief prosecutor, Md. Aminul Islam, alleged that former army officer Ziaul Ahsan had cut a cake in the lock-up. He also said there were allegations that rice was brought in a tiffin carrier and eaten with others.
However, Ziaul Ahsan’s lawyer, Naznin Nahar, denied the allegation of cutting a cake. She said the lock-up is not a place for celebrating birthdays, and there is no opportunity to get a cake or cut one with anyone there.
