Dengue: highest 9 deaths in one day this year, 1,571 hospitalized

The information was reported in the Directorate General of Health Services' report on Tuesday. This is the highest number of deaths and hospital admissions due to dengue in a single day this year.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, a total of 130 people have died from dengue so far this year. During the same period, 45,394 people were hospitalized after being infected.

Earlier, in 2025, 102,861 people were infected with dengue in the country and 413 died. In 2024, the number of infected people was 101,214 and 575 deaths occurred.
