Bloodied body of young man recovered in capital's Kajla

SI Atanu De of Jatrabari Police Station said that after receiving information, police went to the scene early in the morning and recovered the body. The deceased's family claims that Rabbi was killed due to a dispute over a mobile phone. CID's Crime Scene Unit also worked at the scene.

The deceased's niece, Subarna, said that around 7:30 am, an acquaintance went to their home and informed them of Rabbi's death. Later, family members went to the scene and saw the body.

According to family sources, Rabbi lived with his wife and three-month-old infant child in the Gobindapur area of Shanir Akhra. He worked with his father at a fish wholesale market in Jatrabari.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Raju Ahmed of Jatrabari Police Station said that legal proceedings are ongoing in the incident. The cause of the murder and those involved in the incident are being investigated.
