At the meeting, discussions were held on the construction of modern vessels in Bangladesh and the development of the maritime sector. Ben Wang said that Julong Group wants to build international-standard vessels and ships by utilizing Bangladesh's geographical location and skilled workforce. Apart from meeting the country's demand, there are also plans to export these vessels to various countries.

China's Julong Group interested in investing in Bangladesh's shipbuilding sector
Welcoming the Chinese investment proposal, State Minister Rajib Ahsan said that Bangladesh has created a business-friendly environment for foreign investment. The government will provide necessary cooperation, including policy and administrative support, in investment and production activities in the shipbuilding industry.
He said that if this initiative is implemented, opportunities for employment creation and foreign currency earnings in the maritime sector will increase.
