Initiative to increase cooperation in leather sector to attract Italian investment
The Italian Ambassador proposed visits to Milan, Florence, and Rome. He said that during these visits, contacts with potential investors would be increased through meetings with business organizations, leather industry areas, and at the government level.
At the meeting, emphasis was placed on ensuring international-standard certification in the leather industry, environmental management, and an investment-friendly environment. The waste management and industrial waste recycling of the Savar Leather Industrial City were also discussed.

In addition, the registration process of the Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh was also discussed. Both sides expressed hope to further strengthen Bangladesh-Italy trade, investment, and industrial cooperation.
