Aminul Haque said he will try to raise the problems and demands raised by the officers and employees of Krishi Bank at the higher levels of the government. At the same time, he called upon bank officials to play a responsible role to ensure accountability to the people by learning from past mistakes.

He said that until July 2026, loans of 1,434,482 farmers up to Tk 10,000, including interest, have been waived. There is also a plan to provide loans on easy terms and various facilities through farmer cards to make farmers self-reliant.
In the 2026-27 fiscal year, a proposal has been made to provide farmer cards to 4,205,000 farmers in 100 upazilas. The state minister also said there is a plan to give marginal and landless farmers cash assistance of Tk 2,500 once a year.
