He made this call during a courtesy meeting with Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon on Thursday morning. The meeting also discussed developing bilateral relations between the two countries and enhancing communication among the people.
In the discussion, emphasis was placed on further strengthening Bangladesh-India relations based on mutual respect, equality, fairness and justice. They also exchanged views on resolving various existing challenges through dialogue and cooperation.
The meeting discussed increasing cooperation in education, health, sports, culture and tourism, as well as expanding trade and investment. Both sides discussed the potential for increasing cooperation between the two countries in science, technology and innovation.
Deputy High Commissioner of the Indian Embassy Pawan Badhe was also present at the time.
