Two more children die with measles symptoms

On Thursday (September 17), the Directorate General of Health Services said that two people died with measles symptoms in the Chattogram Division from 8 am Wednesday to 8 am Thursday.

So far this year, a total of 1,046 people have died of measles and measles symptoms. Among them, 100 died of confirmed measles and 946 died with symptoms.

In the last 24 hours, measles was detected in 61 people. With this, the number of confirmed measles cases has stood at 20,343. In the same period, measles symptoms were found in 1,282 people. As a result, so far the number of suspected infections has stood at 176,480.
