He made the call at an exchange meeting with leading content creators and social media communications professionals of the country at the conference room of the Ministry of Health on Thursday (September 17).

Health Ministry wants content creators by its side in tackling dengue
The State Minister for Health said the Directorate General of Health Services and hospitals are taking preparations for dengue treatment. Three thousand doctors are being retrained, and saline and beds are also being kept ready. However, dengue cannot be controlled by increasing medical capacity alone; behavioural change among people is also essential.
He said people listen to popular content creators with importance. Therefore, out of social responsibility, they can play an important role in raising public awareness about dengue prevention by creating creative content.

At the meeting, an integrated action plan for the next three months was discussed. Participating content creators and agencies were asked to quickly submit their initial ideas and plans. A target was set to publish content for a digital campaign between October 20 and 25.
