On a brief visit, the Prime Minister's entourage list has also been shortened. During his stay in New York, he will attend several high-level meetings of the United Nations, various discussions organized by Bangladesh, and bilateral meetings with world leaders.

Among the meetings are discussions on development, pandemic prevention, sea-level rise, and nuclear disarmament. Besides, Bangladesh will organize several events on various issues, including the Rohingya crisis.

During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet UN Secretary-General António Guterres, High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih, President of the European Council António Costa, World Bank President Ajay Banga, and Boeing Global President Brendan Nelson. He will also attend a dinner hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump.
