The accident occurred on Thursday (September 17) night near Trimohoni Theme Park in the Bakila area. The deceased Yasin was the son of Alamgir Bepari of Radhasar village in Kalcho South Union of Hajiganj Upazila.
It is learned that Yasin had been working at Trimohoni Theme Park for about seven years. He met with the accident while returning home after work. After his parents' separation, Yasin, who grew up staying with his mother at his maternal grandfather's house, used to support his mother with his income.
The park's owner, Al Amin, said Yasin had been working there for a long time. His death in the accident has put the family in a major crisis.
Sayem, who was injured in the incident, is the son of Akter Hossain of Bakila area. His left hand was crushed in the accident. He was sent to Dhaka that night for advanced treatment.
OC Md. Abdul Mannan of Hajiganj Police Station confirmed the accident and death and said that the truck and motorcycle had been seized. Legal proceedings are ongoing in the incident.
