At the meeting, the Jamaat Ameer congratulated the leaders for completing the DUCSU term successfully and with accountability. At the same time, he inquired about the overall situation of Dhaka University and various issues of the students.

At the time, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman expressed concern over allegations of non-cooperation and obstruction by the university administration in various DUCSU activities for students' welfare, and over incidents of mob violence by Chhatra Dal at the DUCSU building and various hall unions.
He advised maintaining a proper educational environment at the university, working for students' welfare, and being more active in solving their problems. In addition, he called for ensuring the basic rights of the country's people and utilizing DUCSU's experience in state reform in line with the aspirations of the July Revolution.
