He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a reception ceremony held at Bindubasini Boys' High School in Tangail town at noon on Friday (18 September), honoring nearly 800 meritorious students who achieved GPA-5 in the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations.

Urging students to take a stand against drugs, the state minister said that drugs are the biggest enemy of the youth society. Everyone must say ‘no’ to drugs and stay away from drugs. A zero-tolerance policy against drugs must be followed.
He further said that such receptions will encourage students in their studies and play an important role in making them more attentive to their classes. Mentioning that the next two years are an important time in the students' lives, he urged them to utilize this time properly and build a beautiful future.

At the event, the state minister handed over crests, mementos, and educational materials to the students who achieved GPA-5. At that time, Tangail Superintendent of Police Md. Shamsul Alam Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police H M Mahbub Rizwan Siddiqui, officials of various government departments, teachers, guardians, and local dignitaries were present.
