On Saturday (19 September), the notification in this regard was published by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance. The notification has been titled ‘Service (Pay and Allowances) Order, 2026’.

New pay scale notification issued
According to the notification, in the new pay structure, from July 1 to December 31 of the current year, officers in grade nine and above will receive 40 percent of the additional basic pay. And officers and employees in grades 10 to 20 will receive 50 percent.
This amount will be added to the salary drawn or receivable on June 30 last.

Moreover, from January 1 to June 30, 2027, officers in grade nine and above will receive 70 percent of the additional basic pay, and officers and employees in grades 10 to 20 will receive at the rate of 75 percent.
