Dhaka-Chattogram Highway Blocked Demanding Justice for Apratim’s Murder

Around 10:00 am on Sunday (September 20), after Apratim’s funeral prayer, students brought out a protest march from the university campus. When the march reached the Kotbari Bishwa Road area, they blocked the highway.

At that time, students chanted various slogans demanding justice for Apratim’s murder, the arrest of the killers and exemplary punishment. They protested the killing with various slogans, including ‘We will not let Apratim’s blood go in vain’.

Cumilla University student Sadikur Rahman said the killers of Apratim must be identified quickly, brought under the law and given exemplary punishment. He demanded that proper measures be taken over the crime incident in Cumilla.
