D.M. Abdul Matin, father of Monira Sharmin, joint convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP) and convener of National Women's Power, has passed away.
On Monday (21 September), the NCP announced his death in a condolence message. The party expressed deep sorrow over the death of the deceased and condolences to the bereaved family.

In the condolence message, the NCP wished Monira Sharmin and her family members the strength and patience to endure the grief. At the same time, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the deceased's soul and peace in the grave.
