A report by Afghan news agency Khaama Press said that Pakistani warplanes carried out an attack in Nurgal district of Kunar at around 2:30 a.m. In an attack on a house in Patan village, three people were killed and several others injured.

About an hour and a half later, a second round of attacks took place in Barmal district of Paktika. A Taliban-affiliated media outlet reported that an abandoned shop in Tor Kandi area and an abandoned house in Rakha were damaged or destroyed. However, no casualties were reported there.
As of Monday morning, no public statement from Pakistan's military regarding the attacks was available.
