Even after raising oil prices, Tk 14 per litre subsidy must be given: Rizvi

He said this after a meeting with leaders of BNP's associate organisations at the party's central office in Paltan on Monday (September 21). Rizvi said that compared to many countries in the world, the price of fuel oil in Bangladesh is still lower.

Regarding the opposition's long march and criticism of the government, he said the government is working to overcome the gas and electricity crisis. He also commented that the opposition is trying to mislead the people.

Rizvi further said that if attempts are made to destabilise the country, BNP will not sit idle. The party and its associate organisations will hold various programmes, including processions and rallies, against such activities.
