Myanmar: In Naypyidaw, the price of 92 octane is 3,930 kyats per litre and diesel is 4,255 kyats. In Bangladeshi currency, about Tk 230 and Tk 249.
Nepal: In Kathmandu, the prices of petrol and diesel are 200 Nepali rupees per litre, about Tk 162 in Bangladeshi currency.
Bhutan: Petrol is 99.05 Indian rupees per litre and diesel is 104.38 rupees, which is about Tk 127 and Tk 134 in Bangladeshi currency.
Pakistan: The price of petrol is 389.14 Pakistani rupees and high-speed diesel is 424.04 rupees. In Bangladeshi currency, that is about Tk 172 and Tk 188.
Differences in fuel prices from country to country are influenced by international market prices as well as taxes and duties, exchange rates, import and transport costs, and the government's pricing policy.
