Prime Minister's US visit marks the beginning of a new history on the world stage: Mahdi Amin

In his verified Facebook post on Monday (September 21), he said that Tarek Rahman's first speech at the United Nations is not just a foreign visit, but an international manifestation of the aspirations of the people of Bangladesh.

Mahdi Amin said the Prime Minister's visit is six days long. Keeping one day each for travel to and from the United States, he will participate in the UN high-level programme and a series of meetings during the four days in between. There are 35 people accompanying him on the visit, including 15 ministers, state ministers, advisers and special assistants.

He said that after martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, as their son, Tarek Rahman will raise the voice of the people of Bangladesh at the UN world stage.

According to Mahdi Amin, after long sacrifice, movement and mass uprising, a democratic government is in charge of running the state. With the people's mandate, the Prime Minister is visiting the United States to raise the voice of the country's people in the global forum.
