NGO worker riding motorcycle killed under bus in Ishwardi

The accident occurred around 7:30 am on Tuesday (September 22) in the Munshidpur area of the Pabna-Ishwardi highway. The deceased, Anwar, was the son of the late Abdul Haque of Tebaria village in Bagmara upazila of Rajshahi. He worked as a programmer at the Dashuria BRAC office in Ishwardi.

SI Abul Kalam Azad of Paksey Highway Police Station said that Anwar set out on a motorcycle in the morning to do field-level work. When he reached the Munshidpur area, a bus hit him from behind. He fell under the bus and died on the spot.

After receiving the news, police and fire service recovered the body from the spot. Legal proceedings in the incident are underway.
