He said these things while responding to journalists' questions after distributing raincoats among tea workers at the Lakkatura Tea Garden factory grounds in Sylhet on Tuesday.

Regarding the opposition party's movement, the minister said they are the elected opposition. Therefore, instead of making populist remarks, they should behave responsibly.

At the event, raincoats were distributed among 1,980 workers of various tea gardens. Noting that the government is taking various initiatives to increase the income of tea gardens, the minister said that consideration is being given to planting timber and spice trees without damaging tea plants and installing solar power in suitable gardens.

He further said that initiatives are being taken to provide ambulances for tea workers, establish schools in gardens where there are no schools, and repair roads in the gardens. Various planned measures are being taken to improve the living standards of workers.
