He said this while speaking as chief guest at an event at Gulshan Club in the capital on Monday (September 21), marking the celebration of ‘China’s National Day’ and a farewell reception for China’s outgoing Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen.

LGRD Minister hopes to take Bangladesh-China relations further forward
The minister said China is a tested friend of Bangladesh. He expressed hope that the two countries have long-standing friendly relations and that this relationship will become even stronger in the future.
Praising the contribution of outgoing Ambassador Yao Wen, Abdul Moyeen Khan said that during nearly four years in office, he assisted Bangladesh in various fields, which played an important role in advancing relations between the two countries.

He also expressed the expectation that under the leadership of Prime Minister Tareque Rahman, Bangladesh-China relations will reach new heights in the days ahead.
Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Fakir Mahbub Anam and outgoing Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen, among others concerned, were present at the event.
