Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer at Saudi Arabia's National Day event, hands greetings letter to ambassador

At the event, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman handed over a letter to Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Abdullah Jafar bin Abiyah, congratulating and extending greetings to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In the letter, greetings were conveyed to the Saudi King, royal family, government and people on behalf of Bangladesh and its people.

The letter mentioned Saudi Arabia's responsibility in serving and managing the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque (PBUH) in Medina, as well as the country's cooperation in facilitating Hajj and Umrah for Muslims around the world. At the same time, highlighting the deep religious, cultural and people-to-people relations between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, the hope was expressed to further strengthen the friendship between the two countries.

At the event, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman exchanged greetings with diplomats and guests from various countries. At that time, Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar, Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Maulana Mohammad Abdul Halim, Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer, and member of the Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee of the Opposition Leader Ali Ahmad Mabrur were present.
