He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a rally following a protest procession of the district BNP at Kalibari intersection in Kishoreganj town at noon on Wednesday.
The state minister said, democracy and people's right to vote have been re-established in Bangladesh. No conspiracy to destroy democracy will be allowed to succeed.
Referring to the recent arson attack on a bus, he said, attempts to frighten people by creating violence and anarchy will be dealt with. The country will not be allowed to become unstable.
Regarding justice, Yaser Khan Chowdhury said those involved will be brought under the law and tried before the people. He called on them to return to the country now instead of waiting until December.
Earlier, the district BNP's protest procession started from the Rathkhala area, marched through various roads of the town, and ended at Kalibari intersection. At the rally, district BNP General Secretary and Member of Parliament for Kishoreganj-1 constituency Md. Mazharul Islam and Member of Parliament for Kishoreganj-2 constituency Md. Jalal Uddin spoke.
