Speaking at a briefing with journalists during an organizational visit to Jhenaidah around 11:30 am on Friday (September 25), he said that the opposition, by hiring experts at its own expense, has provided advice to the government to tackle various crises. He claimed that although at least 38 proposals have been given so far, none have been accepted.

Mia Golam Parwar said that Jamaat along with the opposition wants to cooperate with the government. However, the allegation being made by the government against the opposition of non-cooperation is ‘ridiculous’.

Criticizing BNP, he claimed that in 1991 and 2001 Jamaat helped BNP form the government. However, later, raising allegations of attacks and arrests of Jamaat leaders and activists, he remarked BNP as an ‘ungrateful’ party.

Claiming that Jamaat has no contact or instigation in bringing Awami League into the field, Mia Golam Parwar said there are questions about the role of the government and law enforcement agencies regarding how activists of the banned party are holding programs in Dhaka and various parts of the country. He called for disclosure of any evidence of contact or collusion between Jamaat and Awami League.

Earlier, Mia Golam Parwar spoke as the chief guest at an education camp organized at the district Jamaat office in Hamdah area of Jhenaidah city. District Jamaat Amir and Member of Parliament for Jhenaidah-2 constituency Ali Azam Mohammad Abu Bakar, District Secretary Abdul Awal and Member of Parliament for Kushtia-3 constituency Mufti Amir Hamza, along with leaders and activists of the party, were present at the program.
