With financial support from the Export Promotion Bureau and cooperation from the Ministry of Commerce and the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Jeddah, the Bangladesh Pavilion has been set up at the fair. On Thursday, Vice Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce Imad Mohammad Al Aboud inaugurated the expo. Later, Bangladesh's Consul General Md. Sakhawat Hossain and Saudi business representative Osama Koukandi jointly inaugurated the Bangladesh Pavilion.

11 Bangladeshi companies at Jeddah Fashion and Textile Expo
The companies participating in the Bangladesh Pavilion are—Zakaria Knitwear, Aleya Apparels, MSAH Q Apparels, Modest Attire by Jahan, Iton Fashions, Swapnil House, Bonum Garments, Bell Bottom, Marker, Sawda Fashion and Al Noor Garments.
On the initiative of EPB, documentaries and documentary films on Bangladesh's heritage, production capacity and exportable products are being screened at a separate booth. Through this, Bangladesh's products and capabilities are being highlighted to Saudi businessmen, importers and investors.

Organizer Pyramids Group has said that this year's expo has more than 550 booths. Around 10,000 trade visitors and buyers from more than 25 countries are expected to participate. Those concerned hope that through the fair, there will be opportunities to create new buyers and business partners for Bangladeshi-made garments and textile products in the markets of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. The exhibition will continue until September 27.
