The information was disclosed in a press release from the control room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday. According to the release, since March 15, a total of 1,087 children have died from measles and measles symptoms. Among them, 101 died from confirmed measles and 986 from measles symptoms.

During this time, a total of 207,912 children were affected. Among them, 186,813 were patients with suspected measles symptoms and 21,099 were confirmed measles patients.

The Directorate General of Health Services said that so far 165,155 children have been hospitalized with measles symptoms. 158,576 children have recovered and been discharged.

Of the three children who died in the last 24 hours, one each was from Dhaka, Chattogram and Khulna divisions. At the same time, the highest 394 patients with measles symptoms and 51 confirmed measles patients were detected in Dhaka Division.
