The information was disclosed in a notification from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday.

According to the notification, among the newly admitted patients, 280 are in Dhaka Division (outside city corporations), 170 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 106 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 241 in Khulna Division, 209 in Chattogram and 204 in Barishal. Besides, 112 were admitted in Mymensingh, 57 in Rajshahi and 53 in Rangpur.

With this, the death toll from dengue in the current year has reached 214. At the same time, a total of 71,536 people have been admitted to hospitals with dengue.
