A doctor named Dr. Achol Ray has died after being infected with dengue. This 42nd BCS officer was serving as Assistant Registrar in the Department of Medicine at Mugda Medical College Hospital. He passed away on Sunday while undergoing treatment in the ICU of Square Hospital in the capital.
The tragic thing is, even the day before he fell ill, he had provided care to patients, and the very next day he was scheduled to carry out duties in the dengue unit. His untimely death has cast a deep shadow of mourning among the medical community.
