He made the announcement at a briefing after visiting the damaged health centre on Monday afternoon. Shafiqur Rahman said the assistance is being provided for the health centre. If necessary, more assistance will be provided for the healthcare of local people.

Jamaat to give Tk 50 lakh assistance to Radda MCH-FP Centre
Expressing concern over the deterioration of the law-and-order situation, he said the government must take prompt measures so that no miscreant can commit any wrongdoing anywhere in the country.
The Jamaat Amir also alleged that the ruling party provided shelter and patronage in the attack on Radda Centre. However, no side's statement on the allegation was immediately available.

On the night of September 25, a group of masked individuals attacked, vandalised and looted the Radda MCH-FP Centre. It is alleged that after holding security personnel hostage and looting goods, they demolished the building and structures with heavy machinery.
After the incident, a signboard and banner of ‘Samamona Dokandar Samabay Samity Limited’ were hung there. A case was filed with Shah Ali police station over the incident and several people were arrested and sent to jail.
